Context

Why accounts get banned

At the scale of billions of users, many decisions are automated. When there is no appeal button, a structured request on another channel can be the path to human review.

FAQ

Short answers to the first questions

How do I know if the ban is permanent?

A temporary block shows a timer or a request-a-review option. A permanent ban is worded as final and has no in-app appeal button.

What happens after 30 and 60 days?

In some reports and cases, changes were observed around 30 and 60 days after a ban. WhatsApp does not publicly commit that every account follows the same timeline, so those numbers are not a guarantee. It is better to review the case early.

Can I appeal inside the app?

On a permanent ban there is usually no appeal button. Many digital requests are routed to automated systems. In suitable cases we use a structured professional channel instead.

How long does review and handling take?

The initial assessment is quick. When full handling begins, most cases take days to a few weeks — depending on the case and calendars.

When do I pay?

The initial review is free. Payment terms are explained in writing in advance, and only if you choose to proceed.
